Humanity has entered a new phase of technological development, the so called ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ (4IR).
The European (Erasmus+) project ‘FORCE’ [FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION: Challenges & Opportunities for Europe], implemented by ΕΝΑ Institute for Alternative Policies, focuses on the various capacities, vulnerabilities, gaps and opportunities of the 4IR for Europe (technological, economic, social, labour, environmental, ethical).
Through a constructive, multidisciplinary, inclusive Europe-wide debate (in the form of a series of three events), FORCE seeks to explore policy proposals for the EU to address the challenges of the 4IR and grasp the potential of new technologies in a sustainable and inclusive way.
